Rachel Selk joined GSG Capital Advisors as Director of Operations in our Carlsbad office in November 2009. She is responsible for client support, internal systems and administration, and overall problem solving. She brings to us experience in Small Business Organization, Project Management, Computer Software, Qualitative Research, Event Planning, Writing and Teaching.

Rachel’s experience makes her highly qualified to support the mission and clients of GSG Capital Advisors. Her immediate past position was as J-Serve Coordinator, a program connecting San Diego Jewish teens to community service. Prior to that, she held the position of Hebrew School Coordinator at Temple Solel in Encinitas, CA. Rachel lived in Ann Arbor, MI, for 10 years, where she was a Research and Program Associate at the University of Michigan. Rachel also started and ran her own Professional Organizing Company while in Ann Arbor. She has also provided “unofficial” IT support to her colleagues everywhere she has worked.

A native Californian, Rachel holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from UCLA and an M.S. in Natural Resource Policy and Behavior from the University of Michigan. Go Bruins and Go Blue! Rachel and her husband have two daughters and she keeps busy helping with homework, attending sports and dance events, cooking family dinners, conversing with her husband, walking the dog, working out, and reading as many books as possible.
